Revue held Sept. 29

Dear Editor,

The Mt. Morris Tourism Committee and Community Women's Club would like to thank all of those that participated in the Mt. Morris Historical Revue on Sept. 29. 

A beautiful sunshiny fall day with falling leaves and and a nice crowd made the day a success. 

Docents gave the history of the founding of Mt. Morris and the old Mt. Morris College on the campus/village square and quilts, an art display and historical power point were well received in the “Old Sandstone” building. 

Children and adults alike seemed to enjoy the horse and wagon ride on the beautiful fall day through the streets of Mt. Morris to learn even more history about our town. 

A most appreciative thank you to all of the contributors to the event and to those who attended and made all of the planning most worthwhile.
