One injured when vehicle rolls over and lands in small creek

A Mt. Morris woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday after a one-vehicle roll-over crash approximately four miles south of Mt. Morris.

Ogle County Sheriff's Police said Virginia Masters, 93, was transported by Polo ambulance to KSB Hospital, Dixon, for treatment of minor injuries.

Masters was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Judith Johnson, 63, Mt. Morris.

The vehicle was southbound on North Lowell Park Road when it left the roadway, rolled, and came to rest on its top in a small creek. The crash occurred around 2 p.m.

Johnson was not injured.

The crash still remains under investigation.
