Kelly M. Timm

Kelly Marie (Wolfley) Timm, 36, LaBelle, Fla., entered into eternal life with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 after a courageous battle with melanoma.  

Kelly was born on Aug. 20, 1976 along with her twin sister Kimberly in Dixon, to parents Robert and Ingrid Wolfley, Sterling, IL.  

Kelly and Joseph Timm were married April 19, 2003 in Fort Myers, Fla.

Kelly graduated from Upper Iowa University in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

She devoted her life to educating children.  

After receiving her degree she began teaching at Franklin Center Elementary School, Franklin Grove.

She moved to Florida in 2001 and taught at RCMA.  

From 2006-2010 she educated first grade students at Moore Haven Elementary School.  

In 2011 she taught kindergarten at Country Oaks Elementary School in LaBelle, Fla.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Timm; son, Wyatt; daughter, Emily; parents, Ingrid and Robert Wolfley, Sterling; grandparents, Robert and Wilma Wolfley, Polo; four sisters, Diana Maul, East Concord, N.Y., Pamela Walberg, North Liberty, Iowa, Kimberly Wolfley, Polo, and Natalie Wolfley, Peoria; 10 nephews and four nieces.

The visitation will be Friday, Feb. 15 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m.  at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, LaBelle, Fla.  

The funeral mass will be Saturday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, LaBelle, with Father Chester Domaszewicz officiating.  

Interment will follow at Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle.

In an effort to continue Kelly’s devotion in educating children, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Joseph Timm c/o Seacoast National Bank, 17 N Lee St, LaBelle, Fla. 33935 to help support the college education of Wyatt and Emily.
