Rochelle, Byron tops in Middle School MATHCOUNTS competition
A team from Rochelle Middle School and two students from Byron Middle School will represent the area at the state MATHCOUNTS competition next month.
The state qualifiers were among more than 50 sixth- through eighth-graders from six area schools who competed in the annual MATHCOUNTS contest Saturday at Sauk Valley Community College.
