Victor Bradley, 89, Oregon, died Monday, July 29, 2013 in Dixon.
He was born Aug. 2, 1923 in Freeport the son of Frank and Mabel Rothermel Bradley.
He married Shirley Trampel in Oregon on Aug. 8, 1958.
Victor was a superviser for the telephone company in the Rochelle, Sycamore, and DeKalb areas for many years.
He was a World War II Marine veteran and a member of Oregon VFW Post 8739.
His family was most important to him.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; daughters, Kelly Cardot, Polo, and Julie (Mark) Glenn, Dixon; son, David Victor Bradley (Rebecca), Roy, Wash.; grandchildren, Tara Steingraber, Vanessa Cardot, Sadie Streadwick, Jordan Streadwick, Emily Streadwick, Mason Streadwick, Kristin Bradley, Ethan Bradley, Trevor Glenn, Connor Glenn, and Miles Glenn; and great grandchildren, Madelyn, Alexis, Tyreese, Jaxon, Estella, Zoey, Grace, Myla, Logan, Aidan, Tyler, and Blake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a twin sister, Vivian Gough.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 110 S. Seventh St., Oregon, with Dr. Mark Glenn officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 11a.m. at Lighthouse Cemetery, rural Oregon.
